Holly Steuerwald, DVM

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Holly Steuerwald has been practicing small animal medicine in upstate New York for the past decade. Dr. Holly is a native of Columbia County, having attended Ichabod Crane Central schools before going on to St. Lawrence University and later Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Her clinical interests include behavior, fear-free medicine, all aspects of feline medicine, helping owners manage chronic medical conditions, and assuring a great quality of life for our aging patients. Outside of work, Dr. Holly can be found spending time with her husband and daughter, their 2 dogs (a border collie and a sheltie), 4 cats and 2 guinea pigs. If she can sneak away from all of that, she also enjoys her perennial gardens, feeding and watching wild birds, and horseback riding.

Catherine Etherington, DVM

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Catherine Etherington attended the University of New Hampshire for her undergraduate education and Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine for her DVM. She wanted to be a veterinarian since she was 5 years old. Catherine enjoys forming lifelong relationships with her patients and clients and managing challenging medical issues and behavioral problems. She enjoys travelling and volunteering with World Vets (an organization that performs healthcare and spay/neuter clinics in developing countries). She has travelled to Cambodia, Peru, and Nicaragua. At home she spends time with her husband, dog (Maci), 2 cats (one is a tripod) and 2 fish tanks. She also has a retired thoroughbred and quarter horse named Dakota.

Dr. Gagliardi enjoys getting to know her clients and their pets while working to help ensure they lead long, happy, healthy lives. Every day brings new challenges. When she is not working, Dr. Gagliardi enjoys spending time with her dog, Ava & two cats, Skittles & Esteban. She also enjoys spending time outside and horseback riding.

Practice Manager

Sara has lived in this town growing up. She has a lot of experience in the medical field and finally decided to expand her career to work with animals. She has always had a love for animals. Although she doesn’t currently have any, she is able to show her passion for the animals our clients bring in every day. During Sara’s free time, she loves spending time with family and friends. She has been working hard to learn all she can in the veterinary field and hopes to continue with it for a long time!

Kaitlyn has lived in this area her whole life. She graduated with a degree in Veterinary Technology from SUNY Ulster in May 2017 and in November she received her technician’ license. Kaitlyn has always loved working with animals and currently has four dogs, two cats, a cockatiel, and a painted turtle.

Morgan went to school at Ulster County Community College to pursue her degree as a Veterinary Technician. She interned at Chathams Small Animal Hospital prior to working here full time. Morgan has been with our practice full time since the fall of 2015. She loves working in the lab and discussing nutrition with our patients. Morgan loves to spend time with her family and friends and also enjoys being outside and bike riding. She lives with her husband and their 3 dogs, Bandit, Ellie, and Penny and 2 cats.

Alisha moved here from North Carolina last year and is currently working full time at CSAH. She is pursuing her schooling to become a licensed vet tech and enjoys spending her time with her daughter and three dogs when she is not working.

Pam joined our clinic as a part-time receptionist in the spring of 2012.  She enjoys the fast pace of the office and always greeting clients with a smile. Pam is happily married with 4 children, 3 dogs, and a cockatiel. Pam is on the board of the Kinderhook Lake Improvement Association and is a member of the Kinderhook Lake Corporation and the Tri-Village Rod & Gun Club. When time allows, Pam enjoys traveling, hiking, kayaking, camping, and reading.

Tiffany was born in Maryland but grew up in upstate New York. She comes from a very large family having nine sisters and four brothers. Currently Tiffany lives with her husband Phillip, her daughter Harper and their dog Fido. She has always had a love for animals. During her free time Tiffany loves spending time with her family and friends and being outdoors.
